Bill Panton is an FTE Performance Case Manager who brings extensive senior business executive and trusted advisor experience providing guidance and direction to corporate leaders on multiple business unit transformation strategies, strategic planning, and business development. Bill thrives autonomously, as a team leader, and as a supportive team player, as well as fostering stakeholder and c-suite relationships. Areas of expertise include: corporate-wide analysis and process mapping to devise cost-effective solutions, maximizing sales revenue, generating organizational efficiencies, allocation of resources, finely honed leadership, relationship-building, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Notable experience and accomplishments:

  • Generated 62.5% in inventory accuracy across the Eastern US and 35.6% across the Midwest US for a key oil & gas client. Strategically designed and launched a management system for multiple locations for this independent pipeline network, launching metrics, a robust and standardized ticketing procedure, and implementation of a daily reconciliation process.
  • Realized 40.0%, 61.5% and 66% productivity improvements in 3 consecutive projects for a commercial construction client in Saudi Arabia. Scope: 10 university buildings and a 52-building police training facility. Instituted realistic target setting based on required production rates and created better shift management practices such as visual dashboards, daily huddles, and daily / weekly performance reviews.
  • Slashed discharge cycle times by 79.7% for an industrial hospital in northern India while synergizing process improvements that impacted 21 workstreams across a 900-bed medical facility. Reduced costs by $1.5M, bolstered utilization of telephony system from 11% to 90% and identified $3M in revenue generating opportunities

Prior to consulting, Bill held numerous sales positions that included the following products: windows to new construction, new construction home sales and cold calling for a uniform service. Bill, also, took a break from consulting to become Area Vice President for an oscilloscope manufacturer with executive management responsibilities of P&L, global sales, marketing, operations, HR, and finance. Directed a team of 50 direct salespeople and 20 distributors, plus all support functions, in 10 countries. In his spare time, Bill is a Teaching Assistant for a graduate technology course at Columbia University sharing his experience in business operating systems and process improvements.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University, one of the top-rated schools in the Southeastern United States. More recently, Bill received a certificate from Harvard University for completing coursework in The Impact of Climate Change on Global Health and another one for Six Sigma: Define and Measure from the Technological University of Munich.
