Larin Wilski is a Program Manager with FTE Performance Consulting, based out of Royal Oak, Michigan. Larin is an accomplished, enthusiastic, hands-on leader with 11 years of diversified background and experience in automotive Operations and Logistics. During his time, Larin has proven to be a skilled people leader with experience leading large virtual and cross-functional teams delivering success through enterprise wide cost optimization. Larin brings knowledge and experience in organizational and operations process improvement, logistics network optimization, strategic planning, import/export operations, and lean manufacturing.

Notable experience and accomplishments:

  • Facilitated and lead over a dozen cross-functional lean workshops for North America Operations
  • Applied training and coaching for over a 100 people worldwide in all areas of Logistics’ and Global Operations on GM’s Lean Manufacturing System (GMS)
  • Conducted 8 lean manufacturing assessments in North America, identifying continuous improvement process enhancements resulting in $18M cost of quality savings
  • Analyzed costs and benefits of alternatives through problem solving utilizing lean initiative tools resulting in $26M savings per year
  • Supported all areas of the Logistics’ Value Stream on technical and operational issues eliminating rail and optimizing distribution networks with an annual savings of $10M per year
  • Managed inventories exceeding $50M and over 60,000 product lines (sku’s)
  • Lean project manager for North America DDS dealer carrier launches in the automotive aftermarket space
  • Drove significant business process and material flow improvement, in close coordination with multiple project teams reducing 8 days of lead-time saving $150k in inventory

Prior to joining the FTE Core Team, Larin’s most recent assignment was Global Lean Manager supporting North America operations for a leading automotive OEM. In this role, Larin identified, analyzed, developed, implemented and supported new and improved lean methods, processes, systems, and layouts within global operations space.

Larin Wilski has a degree in Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University and is currently pursuing his Masters degree at Pennsylvania State University.
