Heather Riddles serves as the Instructional Designer for FTE Microlearning. She has more than 20 years of experience in science, technology, and technical content management, creation, and editing, as well as demonstrated expertise in designing and developing engaging eLearning content and LMS management.

Notable experience and accomplishments:​

  • Developed and implemented a comprehensive learning content tracking system in a fast-paced development and content release environment. This system facilitated streamlined collaboration and content development visibility among team members and content stakeholders.​
  • Introduced training communication channels and an online training schedule calendar, streamlining the coordination of training schedules and customer enrollment reporting.​
  • Developed and automated training schedule management processes, significantly boosting the program’s overall live training capacity.​
  • Authored comprehensive sign-up and training access instructions for large company training rollouts, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free onboarding experience.​
  • Developed procedures and templates to aid Customer Service Managers in guiding customers and partners through the training enrollment process, greatly enhancing customer satisfaction.

Before joining the FTE Microlearning team, Heather worked as the Learning Administrator for Seeq Corporation’s Learning Program. She administered a dynamic live training schedule within a Learning Management System, overseeing a high volume of courses. She was recognized by senior leadership with a promotion to Learning Content Manager. In this role, she curated internal employee and external customer and partner-facing eLearning courses and instructional materials, developed new eLearning modules and assessments, and ensured the translation of learning content into multiple languages. Before venturing into eLearning development and design, Heather spent 15 years as a Geologist in the oil and gas industry and 5 years as an Engineering Research Associate and Webmaster at an environmental research institute.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology (Summa Cum Laude Honors) from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
