Desiree is the Senior Instructional Designer for FTE Microlearning. She brings extensive experience in instructional and learning experience design with expertise in crafting and developing engaging eLearning content. Desiree has spearheaded multiple learning programs over the last 15 years, including coverage of advanced analytics for process industries with deeper dives into statistical quality control as both an analytics engineer and eLearning developer. Her multifaceted expertise is instrumental in creating and delivering engaging and effective learning experiences. 

Notable experience and accomplishments:

  • Co-creator of Seeq’s Foundations Analytics SkillsTM delivered by Seeq Training and universities, reaching learners across process industry verticals worldwide. 
  • Executed Learning Metrics & Technology Program to revamp learning content processes, reducing process time by 70% and accelerating operational efficiency. 
  • Expanded live training capacity by 50% while achieving increased learner perception scores. 
  • Conceptualized enterprise training plans that facilitated multiple successful large enterprise training rollouts developing thousands of skilled learners and evangelists. 
  • Implemented and administered Learning Management Systems to deliver and track learning initiatives that seamlessly grew to support tens of thousands of learners globally. 
  • Executed and developed a Seeq Workbench Add-on to assist with Statistical Quality and Process Control calculations and charting. 
  • Designed and facilitated the build of Baytek’s QC/PLUS SQC software, meeting the ASTM D6299 standard for fuel laboratories. 
  • Authored and published several internal and external guides, scripts, and articles covering quality & process control, instructional design, content development, and delivery processes. 

Before joining the FTE Microlearning team, Desiree worked as a Senior Analytics Engineer for Seeq, the first application dedicated to processing data analytics. She is the progenitor of Seeq’s Learning Program and their Learning Metrics & Technology Program. Desiree has experience in instructional design and eLearning consulting for a civil and environmental engineering firm and laboratory. 

Desiree holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Texas A&M University-CC and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Texas A&M University-K. She has also achieved certifications in cybersecurity (CC) from (ISC)2 and in training program management (CPTM) from Training Industry, Inc.
