Brian is an FTE Principal whose career spans over 35 years across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and corporate management in the mobility and consumer products industries. Brian has extensive operations, finance, and program management experience in deploying lean principles. He has been directly involved in global transformations in direct and consulting roles in OEM, government, and tiered supplier environments. 

Notable Experience and Accomplishments:

  • Led powertrain testing programs on compressed timelines to expedite global vehicle launches for a major automotive OEM that exceeded all cost and efficiency targets. This included leading all facility buildouts and operations over three regional manufacturing sites in North America. Demonstrated a 30% increase in throughput and quality through process engineering, equipment development, proprietary software integration, and program team training and resource development supporting launch requirements. 
  • Championed new technology electrification, autonomous and hybrid mobility integration, and manufacturing programs for global market applications. 
  • Launched a global software and powertrain calibration team in South America, providing new technology training architecture for two major automotive corporations. Established training and process standards to improve quality, safety, and efficiency. 
  • Managed high-security limited-volume engine manufacturing programs supporting major OEMs and the United States Secret Service. Responsible for design, validation, manufacturing, and global operations support. 
  • Managed a new engine plant launch team supporting all disciplines (IE, EE, ME’s ) to launch a high-technology engine manufacturing line for a major automotive OEM. 

Prior to consulting, Brian held various executive leadership roles in manufacturing and engineering services, operations, and program management at Martin Technologies for over 17 years. Before Martin, Brian worked for 18 years as a performance and product development engineering manager and business development director at Roush Enterprises. He led global customer programs and new product development initiatives. Brian has led production powertrain calibration and new model release programs supporting international market applications. Additionally, Brian has provided lean integration solutions for domestic and transplant clients. 

Brian holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Administration from Lawrence Technological University. Additionally, Brian studied Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University and has served as a board member for Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association (GLREA).
