Vic Patel is an FTE Senior Advisor with over 29 years of extraordinary leadership and multifaceted experience working with world-class global Fortune 500 publicly traded and private equity owned companies. Vic has proven ability to drive Profitable Growth & Operations Excellence in Multi-site Global Automotive, Diversified Industrial, Aerospace and Construction/Building products manufacturing environments. Vic is a strategic, results driven hands-on leader with extensive experience developing and executing strategic transformational initiatives. Experience includes all aspects of operations including P&L, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and New Product Development. Vic has proven capabilities to lead corporate wide strategy deployment process, develop and execute manufacturing and distribution footprint optimization and design and implement integrated supply chain to support go-to-market strategy and  create centers of excellence enabling manufacturing organizations to drive competitive advantage. 

Notable experience and accomplishments:

  • As a Senior Vice President of Operations for a Private Equity owned Building Materials company, 
    • Delivered $10M in EBIDTA in 2 years executing strategic sourcing and manufacturing initiatives. 
    • Led several M&A due diligence processes. Developed and executed a plan to deliver post-acquisition synergies of $8M.
  • As a Director of Operations, North America, for a $17B Automotive Mobility Technology company, achieved $17M in manufacturing cost productivity performance; achieved $5M improvement in premium freight and $9M in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) improvements.

  • As a Division Director of Operations for a $15B Power & Motion Control Technology Company, developed and implemented a strategic roadmap to transform their Aerospace manufacturing sites into centers of excellence. 
    • Reduced past due backlog from $7 million to $750K in less than 12 months and increased OTD from 82% to 95%. 
    • Increased cost absorption from 92% to 107% and reduced wages per sales by 4%. 
    • Executed a material cost reduction strategy by partnering with strategic suppliers realizing annualized savings of $3.5M. 
    • Executed strategic initiatives to realize 8% annual sales growth and increased NOI from 18% to 21%.
  • As a Senior Manager, Manufacturing of a $20B diversified Power Management and Global Technology company, developed strategy and roadmap for footprint optimization execution. 
    • Accelerated product transitions to best cost regions resulting in 15% gross margin improvements and lead time reductions. 
    • Drove 7% net cost out by driving a structured disciplined process with cadence, rigor and accountability towards the continuous improvement process including VSM/Kaizen executions. 

Prior to consulting, Vic worked for General Motors, Eaton, Parker Hannifin, Delphi and Carlisle Corp. Vic has a track record of success in multiple division turn-around initiatives, start-up opportunities, restructuring, manufacturing footprint and distribution network optimizations, mergers/acquisitions due diligence and post-acquisition integrations including several international assignments in Europe, Asia and South America

Vic holds an MBA degree from the University of Texas, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the M.S University in India.
