Trena Burgan is an FTE Senior Advisor with a history deeply rooted in automotive manufacturing across Engineering, Technical Support, Quality, and plant floor operations. Trena is a mission-driven leader passionate about aligning multiple functions with a heavy emphasis on people engagement, relationship-building, process improvement, and lean methodologies. Throughout her career, Trena has successfully navigated complex challenges, driven results, and fostered transformative success in diverse manufacturing environments.

Notable experience and accomplishments:

  • Spearheaded and guided teams of plant floor operation members, manufacturing engineers, and internal/external suppliers to ensure Key Performance Indicators were met, resulting in a 21% FTTQ improvement within six months and a $200K reduction in scrap costs
  • Championed efforts that strategically reduced costs by $372K and decreased TAKT time by an average of 6 seconds for product launches by creating templated, repeatable tool designs
  • Orchestrated continuous improvement efforts to achieve 44% improvement in overall customer audit scores & quality performance across five major Body Shops

Trena holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. She is a certified Red X Journeyman, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and American Society of Quality member.
