Tracy Waldridge

Tracy is an FTE Senior Advisor with 25 years of automotive manufacturing experience resulting in a comprehensive background of problem solving, team building, lean manufacturing, logistics, packaging, quality control, process setup, and continuous improvement. He has sharpened his teaching, presentation, and human relation skills through his service as a minister, schoolteacher, and real estate agent. Tracy has a passion for serving others through training and mentorship.

Notable experience and accomplishments:

  • Completed over 100 kaizen projects improving safety, ergonomics, quality, logistics, and efficiency.
  • Led logistics project resulting in the elimination of tire and wheel downtime and safety issues in delivery and transit.
  • Increased Ryder’s cross dock production rate by 5% as Logistics Specialist for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky
  • Developed and facilitated annual clothing drive serving over 300 families in Nelson, Anderson, and Spencer counties within the state of Kentucky
  • Designed and built over 25 process flow racks, improving process workflow, and ergonomics.
  • Spearheaded a team to transform the worst rated engine line process in ergonomics, and downtime. Created new standardized work for improved process flow; process related injury dropping by 100% and process downtime reduced by 63%. Built new process flow rack eliminating wasted time by 35%, improving ergonomics from red (lowest) to green (best), and raising quality with a defect reduction of 70%.
  • Facilitated the creation of a new air gun balance system by partnering with engineer and maintenance teams. This new balance system allowed the team member on process to shoot the torque convertor  without bending over  improving efficiency, quality, and ergonomics.  Trained team members to utilize new balance system.

Prior to consulting, Tracy held positions at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in quality control, assembly production, receiving, logistics, and packaging. During his 25 years at TMMK, Tracy trained hundreds of team members in a wide variety of processes. He also acquired a deep understanding of continuous improvement in which he applied to many processes within Toyota and in other areas of life. After attaining his MBA in 2009, Mr. Waldridge served as a minister for 7 years developing curriculum and teaching all ages. Tracy has served a teacher for Christian Academy, as well as Bullitt County Public Schools in Kentucky. He also works with Semonin Realtors, the largest real estate firm in Louisville, Ky.

Tracy earned his MBA in 2009 and a Bachelor’s in Marketing in 2007. He completed both with honors from Indiana Wesleyan University. Mr. Waldridge also earned his Kentucky real estate license and is a member of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors. He has completed the Semonin Way training and Ninja Selling Installation course to better serve his clients.
